2 cottages below street level. C17, No.19 extended to the left c1980, No.21 altered C19. Painted render over rubblestone, continuous double-Roman tile roof with rubblestone ridge stack to former left gable end, rear stack to No.21. Each cottage formerly single-unit plan. 2 storeys; windows to the first floor are at eaves level. C17 block of No.19 is 2-window range with one window to ground-floor right and a planked door to the left; 4-light painted oak chamfered mullioned windows with two C19 panes to each light to the first floor, similar 5-light to the ground floor. INTERIOR: the ground floor has two C17 stop-chamfered cross-beams, that to the right has been cut to raise the height of the ceiling above the door, now blocked. The room above is a flying freehold over No.21. No.21 is one-window range with C19 three-light windows and a C20 door to the right. INTERIOR not inspected.
