GV II
Public house. Mid C17, with late C19 and mid and late C20 alterations. Coursed squared stone with painted stucco front, ashlar dressings and slate roof with single brick gable stack. Rendered plinth and first-floor band. 2 storeys plus attics; 3-window range, arranged 2:1. Two mid C19 margin light sashes to left, and a similar sash to right. Above, two C19 gabled dormers with pierced barge-boards and 2-light casements. Central mid C20 reconstituted stone doorcase with paterae, flanked by single transomed casements and beyond, single 3-light cross casements, all C20. Right gable has on the first floor two 3-light stone mullioned casements, renewed mid C20, with label moulds. Lower 2-storey rear wing has a stone side wall stack.
