Pair of attached houses, now one office. Mid C17. Stucco, brick ridge stack and a pantile half-hipped roof. Double-depth plan. 3 storeys; 2-window range. Gabled front has a slated ground-floor lean-to canopy on fluted fascia brackets to a flush C20 shop front with a glazed door to No.38. Shallow first-floor bays with 3 plate-glass casements below a jettied second floor, with left-hand 6/6-pane sash and a wider right-hand 8/8-pane sash, in flush boxes. Boxed eaves to the half-hipped gable, which projects in front of No.37 to the left. INTERIOR: completely remodelled c1985.
