Terrace of 4 houses. c1860. Limestone ashlar, ashlar party wall stacks roof not visible. Double-depth plan. Italianate style. 2 storeys, basement and attic; 6-window range. A symmetrical group with projecting wings, a central porch and lower return end entrance blocks, frieze, cornice and moulded cornice to the attic. The open double porch has steps up from either side to 2 semicircular arches with imposts and keys, and C20 doors with rectangular overlights; 2-storey end blocks have steps up to semicircular-arched doorways like the centre ones. Middle houses each have ground-floor windows with segmental arches to 5/6-pane sashes, and on the first floor two 6/6-pane hornless sashes with architraves. The wings have rusticated ground floors to a plat band, tripartite ground-floor windows with consoles to panelled heads and cornices, 6/6-pane sashes flanked by 2/2-pane sashes, 6/6-pane first-floor sashes with shouldered architraves, and 3/3-pane attic sashes. INTERIOR not inspected.
