GV II
Semi-detached villas. c.1837-42. Stucco over brick; Welsh-slate truncated hipped roof with dormers (and truncated half-domed roof to large bow windows), all with projecting eaves, and stucco centre and end stacks. Side-hall entrance to outer bay; mirror floor plans. Two-storeys and attic, each of 2-window range including very broad, full-height, bow window (with 4/4 centre sashes with 2/2 side-lights flanked by narrower blind windows to ground and lst floors). Ground-floor entrances with porch with square piers and entablature. Doorway flanked by pilasters; panelled door with side-lights and 4-paned rectangular overlights. Entablature detailing of porch continues horizontally to form elaborate lst floor storey band to bow windows. Narrower 6/6 sashes to lst floor over entrances. Single dormer above each bow window. No. 5 with large wooden addition to rear roof and with recessed brick extension to right of entrance; No. 6 with 2-storey stucco extension to left of entrance.
