Cottage. C16 or C17. Painted render over cob or rubblestone, thatched roof continuous with No.22 (qv) with rubblestone front lateral stack and brick stack to right gable end. Probably formerly 2 cottages, that to the left one-unit plan, that to the right 3-unit plan. 2 storeys; 5-window range. The 2 ranges to the right of the projecting stack which is rendered below the eaves, have C19 or C20 two and three-light casement windows to both floors. Steps up to a door to the left of the stack which has two C19 three-light casements above, that to the left in a C17 frame. The eaves line steps down to the left over a small C19 two-light window. To the ground-floor far left is a C20 door with two C20 windows to its right. VR postbox inset into front wall to right of projecting stack. INTERIOR has one stop-chamfered beam to the ground floor right. Spiral stair on rear lateral wall. Main rafters boxed on first floor.
