SW62SE DEGIBNA LANE 631-1/3/122 Pigsties, attached wall and swill kitchen to north of Lower Pentire Farmhouse

Pigsties, atttached wall and swill kitchen (or furnace house). Wall probably early C19, buildings added to wall probably mid C19. Killas rubble with granite dressings; grouted scantle slate roofs; brick stack to one end of swill kitchen. Small rectangular buildings facing each other across a yard wall and linked on one side with an older yard wall which forms one side wall and the rear wall of each building. Single-storey buildings. Pigsties have 2 feeding hatches flanked by 2 doorways; swill kitchen has doorway and a small window; old ledged doors. INTERIOR: Pigsties have original cobbled floor, slate partitions, granite troughs and roof structure; swill kitchen has original roof structure with tie-beam trusses.
