House, now cottages. Late C19 front to C16(?) core. Stucco; rubble; graduated stone tile and plain tile roof, with gable to left; various brick stacks. Irregular plan. 2 storeys and attic; single-window range: 3/3 sash in moulded case, in stucco; casement in moulded case in gable over; two C19 roof dormers with casements. Entrance in stucco bay (No.38) to right: 4-fielded-panel door in moulded case; 3/3 sash in moulded case. Plank doors to Nos 36 & 37; two 3/3 sashes in moulded cases; concrete lintels. Rubble lean-to to left returned side. Rear: 2 large gable wings with roughcast and exposed timber-framing; graduated stone tiles, and plain tiles; massive purlins; massive cross-axial roughcast stack with 3 diagonal brick chimneys; various windows, casements and entrances.
