TA1029SW DOCK OFFICE ROW 680-1/19/131 (East side) Dry dock on south side of Charlotte Street
GV II
Dry dock. Early C19, with mid and late C19 and C20 alterations. Brick, mainly rendered, with ashlar copings and concrete patching. Rounded west end. Steel mitre gates with stepped sill at river end. On either side, 2 ledges with ashlar copings. Approx 45m long and 15m wide. This building is an early example of a characteristic harbour building.
