Pair of houses. Late C18-early C19. Limestone ashlar with rendered gable stacks and a pantile valley roof. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys; 3-window range to No.318; single-window range to right-hand No.320. A symmetrical front to No.318 with a plat band, pilasters, frieze, cornice and small parapet. A semicircular-arched doorway with fluted architrave, imposts and key, door with 6 fielded panels and fanlight with glazing bars; similar window above, with 2/2-pane sashes, set within semicircular-arched sunken panels. No.320 is lower and set back, with a semicircular-arched left-hand doorway, and plain sashes. INTERIOR not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached front garden walls with ashlar piers with rubble insets to left-hand garden entrance, snecked garden wall curving to the steps and entrance to the right-hand garden, with spiked railings and gate.
