GV II
Public house. Early C17, altered late C20. Roughcast and colourwashed timber-frame. Roof of plain tiles, machine tiles to rear. 2 storeys. Left of centre is a shallow full-height gabled bay, probably a porch entrance. It has a canted bay window to ground floor and a 2-light casement to first floor. Left of this the elevation has two C20 doors and, to left, an early C19 sash with 6/6 glazing bars. Right of this is a third door and 2 early C19 sashes with 8/8 glazing bars. First floor with two 3/3 sashes left of porch and 3 casements right, one 3-light, others 2-light. Gabled roof with internal gable-end stacks north and south, the latter partly external. INTERIOR. Limited public house open-plan style. Front room north with wainscoting of horizontal boards. Fireplaces blocked, bridging beams boxed.
