House. Dated 1810. Cobble with sandstone dressings. Slate roof. Rendered at front. 2 storeys with basement. 2 main bays. Windows have painted stone surrounds and are 16-pane glazing bar sashes except for the right-hand window on the 1st floor which is a C20 casement with glazing bars. Central 6-panel door has stone surround with cornice. Above, at 1st floor level, is a plaque carried on brackets, with a cornice and with '1810' inscribed within an oval. A 3rd bay, to the left, is set back slightly and is blank on the ground floor. Stone gutter corbels. The gables are coped. Chimneys on right-hand gable and to left of original house. Left-hand gable wall contains re-used C17 door surround within glazed porch. Its deep mouldings are carried around an embattled lintel.
