GV II
House. C18 with mid C19 alterations, extensively restored c1980. Painted brick; tile roof with brick cross-axial stack. L-plan. Single storey with attic; 2-window range. Modillioned brick cornice. Blocked entrance and flanking segmental-headed windows with C20 three-light small-paned casements; attic has 3-light raking dormers; C19 stack. Left return has bargeboards; canted bay window with hipped roof and small-paned casement, 2-light projecting window above has brackets and hipped roof. Altered rear wing has re-entrant porch. INTERIOR has chamfered spine beam. Attached short brick wall with stone pier and low stone quadrant with iron railings. Probably altered as lodge to Beacon Place (dem.).
