Late C16 timber-framed barn converted to malthouse late C18, converted to house late C20. Pantiled roofs. The buildings consist of a 5-bay barn, (converted into a malting house in late C18), running east-west with the kiln under a pyramid roof added to the east gable. The south flank has a late C18 outshut with a gabled transept entrance, and the west gable of the original barn has a gabled extension. One and 2 storeys. Additions brick faced and partly rendered. Fenestration of late C20 roof lights. Kiln roof with smoke louvre intact at apex. INTERIOR. The 5-bay barn has jowled principal studs with arched braces to the chamfered tie beams. Roof is an early C18 replacement: some curved wind braces, 2 tiers butt purlins, principal rafter and collars. Floored internally late C18 and late C20.
