Pair of semi-detached cottages. c1830. Stucco.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys. No.2 has 2-window front. Rectangular
projection at ground floor to left with pilasters flanking a
2-light sash with horizontal glazing bars and double-panelled
doors with overlight. Pilasters support a dentil entablature
surmounted by the inswept base of the 1st floor bay window
with horizontal glazing and cornice. To right, C20 glazed
window at ground floor and sash with horizontal glazing to 1st
floor. Projecting cornice below parapet.
No.3 has 3-window front, that above entrance blind. To left,
canted 2-light bay window with horizontal glazing bars and
dentil entablature which extends right across the recessed
entrance which is flanked by pilasters. Entrance with panelled
reveals, panelled door and overlight. Canted bay window above
with similar glazing and cornice. To right, similarly glazed
sashes to both floors. Projecting cornice below parapet.
INTERIOR not inspected.
Nos 2 & 3 (Sandringham) Wilder Road (qv), Nos 1-3 (consec)
Bath Place (qv) and Runnymede (qv) and The Baths House in
Runnacleave Road (qv) form a group.
