Office building. 1830's. Stone with slate roof. Eleven bays. Corresponds to nos. 7, 9 and 5 (eastern part). Rounded bay with 3-light continuous windows of four storeys joins this item to nos. 6-10 Dale Street. Gateway to Sweeting Street adjoins to right. Archway with moulded imposts and massive scrolled keystone. Rusticated to Sweeting Street, and containing heavy cast-iron gates and tympanum. Surmounted on Avenue side by a cast-iron overthrow carrying a lantern.
