Terraced houses. c.1835. Yellow brick set in Flemish bond (ground floor of no 23 painted), roofs of artificial slate. Four storeys over basement, no 22 of two-window range, no 23 three-window range. No 22 has a narrow flat-arched entrance with tall panelled pilasters, cornice and segmental-arched fanlight; one window to either side with cambered arch of gauged brick; brick string between ground and first floors; no 23 has elliptical-arched entrance with reeded and panelled doorcase, sidelight and fanlight, carriage entrance to right; stucco band between ground and first floors. All upper windows flat-arched with gauged brick heads, those to first floor set under round arches of gauged brick linked by stucco springing bands. 6/6 sashes of original design to no 22 (first floor) and no 23 (first floor in part). Parapet rebuilt. Dormers in mansard roof, stacks to party walls.
