House. Dated 1685. Cobble with sandstone dressings and rendered facade. Artificial slate roof. 2 storeys with attic. 3 bays. Facade has 2 drip courses and has sashes with thick glazing bars, possibly indicating a C18 date. On the ground floor the windows are paired in painted stone surrounds with a central mullion. On the 1st floor the surrounds incorporate rebated and chamfered stones from the original mullioned windows. The door, in the central bay, has a moulded surround with a shaped lintel inscribed: '1685 TBE'. Gable chimneys. Gable walls are of exposed cobble. Both have chamfered attic windows, one in the left-hand gable now blocked. The 1st and ground floors also each have a C17 window surround, the latter now blocked. Rear wing has late C20 casement windows in atered chamfered surrounds. Interior not inspected.
