Six terraced houses. 1819-1841; nos. 18-20 built/rebuilt c.1885 and demolished and rebuilt again 1936. Multi-coloured stock brick set in Flemish bond, some with banded stucco ground-floors; roofs obscured by parapets, party-wall stacks. Side-hall entrance plan except no. 20 (access via no. 18). Three storeys; 2 windows each. One-step rise to round-arched entrance set in narrow stucco recess to left (except no. 20 where door replaced by sash): doorway with fluted 1/4 column jambs carrying corniced-head, fanlight (no. 12 patterned) and original panelled door except no. 10 (C20). Ground-floor round-arched curved and radial 6/6 sashes. 1st floor stucco sill band (to nos. 12, 14-16) beneath gauged-brick full-length balconied (nos.10-16) 6/6 sashes; 2nd floor gauged-brick predominantly 6/6 sashes. Stone coping to plain brick parapets. Attached original and reproduction cast-iron railings with urn finials. Included for group value.
