2. Circa 160O timber frame range to right (north) of right angles to road with C18 plastered brick wing to left (south). The timber framed wing has jettied gable with decorative timber framing and carved bresummer on carved figure-head console brackets. Two-storeys and attic. The first floor is also jettied but has applied boards over timber frame, and ground floor is stuccoed brick. Modern fenestration. The timber framing is exposed at the rear (Duke Street) with close-set studding. The left hand south range is circa C18, stuccoed brick with tiled roof, one-storey and attic, 2 window range. First floor sashes with glazing bars, left hand tripartite sash. Ground floor right hand early C19 bowed window with glazing bars, pilasters and entablature with dentilled cornice. Left hand splayed bow and pilastered doorcase under entablature. Two gabled dormers.
