GV II
House with walls, piers and railings. c1825. Coursed squared stone with ashlar plinth and dressings. Roof of Welsh slate with stone ridge and chimneys. 2 storeys and attic; 2-window range. Steps at right to 6-panel door and overlight with decorative glazing bars; cornic to canted bay window at left with 4-pane sashes. First-floor windows on sill band have 16 panes at left and 12 panes at right in projecting stone surrounds. Stone eaves gutter cornice. Roof dormers have 16-pane and 12-pane sashes, slate hung sides, and low pitched roofs with barge boards to gables. End stone chimneys, the left banded and the right with steeply sloped coping, shared with adjacent houses. INTERIOR: not inspected. Front retaining wall to garden is of coursed squared stone with flat ashlar coping. Square entrance piers have channelled rustication and pyramidal coping. Spike-headed railings flank path and steps to door.
