Public house incorporating house. C18 with some earlier timber-frame. Stuccoed brick; tile roof with brick stacks. 2 storeys; 3-window range with 2-window range of former house to left. Entrance to right of centre has plain doorcase and blind overlight to 6-flush-panel door. Ground floor has windows with C20 casements; 1st floor has 3-light small-paned casements with window boxes. Cross-axial stack to left of entrance and truncated stack to left end. Former house has entrance with battened door to left end; windows with small-paned casements, those to 1st floor are smaller. Rear has 2 gabled wings with C20 infill; house has wing with double gable. INTERIOR: timber-framed cross-wall to right of entrance.
