Pair of houses, now offices. Early C19. Sandstone ashlar with ashlar dressings, and rubble at the rear. Slate roof. Double-depth plan with coupled doorways in the centre, and gable chimney stacks. 3 storeys above cellars and 3 bays. The doors are recessed within a stone doorcase composed of 3 pilaster jambs carrying a deep frieze and strongly projecting cornice. The doors each have 4 raised and fielded panels with moulded borders; above are overlights, the left-hand one with glazing bars. All the windows have plain reveals and, with the exception of the ground-floor window on the right which has been widened to form a square, are sashed with glazing bars, giving 12 panes on the ground and first floors and 9 panes on the second.
