House and doctor's surgery. Late C17 with late C18 extensions. Painted stucco
walls, under sandstone slate roof and graduated greenslate roof with stucco
chimney stacks. Low 2-storey, 3-bay, C17 cottage with higher 3-bay extension at
right-angles. Earliest part, now the surgery, has sash windows with glazing
bars in late C18 painted stone surrounds; one Yorkshire sash window in its
original painted stone surround above. Extension has glazed panelled door in
painted stone surround. Ground floor double sash windows, under sash windows
with glazing bars, all in painted stone surrounds. Bowed angle has ground-floor
double sash window with glazing bars. Rear has C20 outshut. EiiR post box in
right return wall.
