There are two bridging beams with quarter-round moulding, and 2 others which are adzed oak copies of originals. Originally very large chimney stack with back-to-back fireplaces, now only that in left bay remains, with large bressummer; bread oven found in chimney breast; and chimney stack was found to have cavity filled with oat grains. Roof trusses mostly concealed, but in wing the lower ends of windbraces, and tops of wall framing with braces, are visible.
