Shops and dwellings. Early C19. Brick; hipped slate roof; central cross axial ridge stack. 3-storeys and cellar; 2-window range: 8/8 casements with iron guards, flanking central blind opening under semi-circular stone arch; all with moulded stone flat hoods on enriched consoles; similar over, but with 6/6 casements and C20 wood hoods; boarded soffit and moulded wood eaves. Early C20 shopfront with later alterations: glazed door in angle of return to Market Square; to right, 2 shop windows with plain glazing shafts and fluted banded pilasters, under moulded fascia boards and hoods; panelled stall-risers.
