Details
1. NEWTOWN ROAD 5127 Nos 22 and 24 SU 4666 NE 7/136 10.6.69 SU 4766 NW 8/136 SU 4666 SE 9/136 II
2. Early C19 (between 1837 and 1849) pair of semi-detached villas. Two storey. Two windows each. Hipped slate roof with projecting eaves. Blue brick with red brick dressings. Stone band at 1st floor level. Gauged flat brick arches to recessed sash windows with glazing bars. No 22 with wooden doorcase with pilasters carrying entablature and projecting cornice; 1/2 glazed door. No 24, entrance with stucco surround, pedimented over door and doorway in segmental-arched recess. No 22 with modern garage extension at rear. (Newbury Buildings Past and Present - 1973 - 47).
