KIMBOLTON HIGH STREET TL 095675 (NORTH-EAST SIDE) 6/59 NO. 52 (HELENA FASHIONS) INCLUDES NOS. 2 AND 24.10.51 4 ST. ANDREW'S LANE GV II Late C17 house and shop, two storeys, with attics, contemporary with 'Montagu House' to south-east and sharing a common facade. L-plan with two storey range parallel to St. Andrew's Lane. Local red brick, painted and rendered on street facade with rusticated stone quoins. Plain tile roofs with some crested ridge tiles. Tall ridge stack. Deep, moulded wooden eaves cornice with modillions. One hung sash dormer window. At first floor level, two hung sash windows with glazing bars. Late C19 shop window with glazing bars and half-glazed door to north- west.
Facade to No. 2 and 4 St. Andrew's Lane. Painted brick, band between floors, plain tiled roof, ridge stack. One hung sash dormer window. Two hung sash windows with side lights and glazing bars at both floor levels, those at ground floor with segmental brick arches. Six panelled door (No. 2) in moulded doorcase with panelled reveals and dentil decoration to shaped cornice. Four panelled door to No. 4. Interior has C19 chimney pieces and fine geometric staircase.
