Public house. Late C18 with mid C19 shopfront. Painted brick with ashlar dressings; tile roof with 2 brick cross-axial stacks. Georgian style. 3 storeys; 4-window range. Top brick modillioned cornice. Shopfront to left end returned round corner, panelled pilaster strips with turned finials and modillioned cornice with rosettes, windows with fixed glazing, panelled aprons and horizontal bars, canted corner entrance has overlight to half-glazed door; 2 entrances with doorcases with pilasters and entablatures, 4-pane doors. Small-paned bowed oriel to right end with small window with 9-pane sash to right; 2 windows to ground floor and 1st floor windows have sills and wedge lintels over 12-paned horned sashes; windows to 2nd floor have sills and 9-pane horned sashes. Lantern over one entrance and scrolled wrought-iron corner bracket with sign. Rear has catslide outshut and 2 gabled wings, that to left has gabled end wing. Included for group value.
