School, now disused, and 2 attached cottages. Late C17 cottages, mid C19 school, C19 and C20 alterations and additions. Rubble, stone dressings, double Roman tiled roofs with brick and stone stacks. L-plan group, picturesque Gothic style school. Single storey school has south elevation with 2 windows, each in small gable with bargeboards, each of 2 lights with trefoil heads and chamfered stone surround, central broach stack, buttresses, string course below cills, projecting eaves, crestings; wooden gabled porch to right with pierced trefoils in gable, rubble plinth, plain door. Left return gable end of school has 4-light window with pointed arched heads, 3 multi-foil lights above, chamfered surround, buttresses, string course, bargeboards to gable. 1½ storey cottages to left have 5 windows at ground floor and one blocked to left, all C20 casements except to right a 3-light casement with ovolo mullions and hood mould, 2nd from right and 2nd from left formerly doors; 3 small gables with bargeboards, each with 2-light casement, to right with ovolo mullions and hood mould, 2 roof lights and 3 brick ridge stacks. East elevation of cottages has 3 windows at ground floor, to left of 2 lights with ovolo mullion and hood mould, 2 to right C20, doors 2nd from left and 2nd from right; 2 gables with bargeboards, larger to left with 2-light casement, ovolo mullion and hood mould, C20 2-light casement to right with chamfered timber lintel; wall set back to rear. Interior not inspected.
