YARDLEY WOOD ROAD 5104 Yardley Wood B13 Fernside Cottage [Nos 1 to 4 (consec) to rear of No 84] SP 08 SE 12/74 7.6.74 II 2. Terrace of small 2 storey red brick cottages with casement windows. Nos 2 to 4 (consec) of C1800. No 1 higher and later, C1850. Nos 2 to 4 (consec) have segment headed doors and ground floor windows. First floor windows, flat headed, run up into eaves cornice of projecting bricks between. No 2 has timber trellis porch. Rear elevation has 3 gables, with cornice of projecting bricks taken up round them; chimney stacks rise up from them. Undulating tile roof. Segmental heads to rear windows on both floors. No 1 has canted ground floor bay window and chamfered lintel to first floor window; timber porch at side.
