GV II
Warehouse, now estate agent's office. Mid C18, altered C20. Coursed and roughly dressed sandstone with ashlar dressings, and a slate roof. Deep rectangular plan. 4 storeys above a cellar, with a bay on either side of a loading slot which is slightly off-centre to the right and is glazed with a plate-glass window on each floor. Projecting quoins to the right only. The left-hand windows are wider than those on the right (which must have lit the staircase). All the upper openings have slightly projecting painted stone surrounds and recent joinery. The ground floor has a late C20 shop front. INTERIOR: the cellar staircase is in the middle of the building and runs parallel to the street.
