DYRHAM AND HINTON C.P. DYRHAM PARK Wall and gates about 200 metres
west of Dyrham House G.V.
II Wall and gates. c.1800. Limestone and cast and wrought iron. Low wall, about
½ metre high, about 20 metres long to south and about 8 metres to north, in
limestone ashlar with moulded coping and spear-topped railings along the length to
south. Fine central wrought iron gates with spear tops, strut supports to panels
at sides of gates, railings ramped down at sides. Railings missing from north
section of wall, not re-set at time of survey (September, 1984). (Sources:
