House. C17 with C18 and C19 alterations. Stone with tiled roofs, stone and brick stacks. Stone coped N.E. gable, 2 storeys, T - shapedin plan. N.W. front has projecting gable on right with lean-to in angle. 2 2 light casements to 1st floor, left part has 3 light casement to each floor. S.W. front has early C19 canted bay window to 1st floor supported on 2 iron columns, with a wide sash window beneath, door on left and small sash window between door and bay. House and barns stand within a moated site see: RCHM II p 163 MON 3
