House. 1690 altered. Stone. Steep pitched roof formerly thatched now corrugated iron sheet. Stone coped gable ends, flanking brick chimneys. 2 storeys. North front has 2 bays of 4 pane wide sash windows with painted lintels and keyblocks, central door in plain doorcase with flat hood. Painted datestone above inscribed "F.I. 1690" 1 storey wing to LH with 2 casements and corrugated iron sheet roof. RCHM II p 165 MON 9
