ST ISSEY SW 97 SW 4/219 Tregolds Farmhouse
II
Farmhouse. Probably C18. Stone rubble, slate hung with rag slates on front. Slate roof with gable end on right and hipped end on left, the roof returning to rear with a hipped end on left and gable end on right. End stacks and rear lateral stack with brick shafts. Plan: Original arrangement of plan is uncertain. The house is of double depth plan with central entrance; 2 principal rooms on front heated by end stacks and stair to rear of central passage, dairy and pantry to rear left and kitchen to rear right, heated by rear lateral stack. Ground rises to rear. Exterior: 2 storeys. Symmetrical 3-window front with two C19 hornless 16-pane sashes flanking a C20 door. Three 4 over 8-pane C19 hornless sashes on first floor. Interior: C19 joinery and carpentry details which are complete.
