4/231 Monument 20 metres to south of
Church of St Ida
GV II
Churchyard monument. Circa 1860s or 1870s, possibly contemporary with the
restoration of the Church of St Ida (qv) in 1870-71 by J.P. St Aubyn. Tall granite
monument on a rusticated square granite plinth. Comprising a moulded column on a
tall moulded base with broached corners; the column is crowned by the Prince of
Wales feathers which appear more eroded than the rest of the monument and have
possibly been reused.
