4/196 Dovecot about 60 metres west of 17.9.52 Moat House G.V. II
Dovecot. C17. Limestone rubble, brick repair work and quoins to south west and north east, double Roman tiled roof. Rectangular plan. 2 storeys, north elevation has 2 bow segmental headed openings, rear has hood mould and timber lintel remaining from blocked ground floor opening, buttress to right and left. Interior: open to roof of 3 bays, tie-beam, collar and 2 rows of purlins, pigeon holes in walls and perches all round.
