2. Mid C19 terrace, symmetrical composition. Each house three storeys, attic and basement, three windows. Slated mansard roofs. No 1 has three pedimented dormers. Nos 2 to 4 have two square dormers each. Multicoloured stock brick. Stucco frieze, cornice with scrolled brackets, and blocking course. Nos 1 and 4 project slightly with stuccoed quoins. Basements stuccoed. Gauged brick arches to windows, round on ground floor, flat elsewhere. Second floor sash windows with glazing bars, some altered. First floor long casements to full width balconies, No 1 renewed in stucco, Nos 2 to 4 cast iron rails with stucco posts. Ground floor sash windows, all but No 3 with glazing bars. Stuccoed keystones and impost blocks, stuccoed panels beneath. Four or five steps to doors of six panels, the smaller panels in the middle. No 1 has later door of six equal panels. Cornice heads and plain fanlights under round arches with keystones and impost blocks. Each door set in a patch of banded rusticated stucco. Cast iron spearhead area railings, and cast ironbandrails. South return of No 1 has chimney at left and three closely grouped windows on each floor at right. Projecting brick entrance extension at right.
