Probably C18, altered, 2 storeys above Orestone stippled plaster, painted, casement window 1st floor left, boat doorway with C18 door frame, square canted bay 1st floor centre above 6-panel door of casement window right. East face, seaward, 4 storey, top storey 5 windows with glazing bars, stone face includes multi-light modern casements. Lower floors left, casements with red brick flat arches.
The Ferry Inn, Orestone Steps, Ferry Cottage and Old Watch House form a group with Nos 39 to 41 (consec) and Little End, Fore Street.
