Town house, now shop. Late C15/early C16; later alterations including rebuild of
range to right in early C19. Render over limestone rubble; gabled stone slate
and artificial slate roof, with concrete tiles to rear; brick lateral stack.
L-plan with right-angle cross wing to left of parallel range. 2 storeys and
attic; 4-window range. Gabled front of 2-window range to left has late C19
two-pane sash and early C19 six-pane sashes above C20 shop front. Parallel range
to right has early C19 front with 6-pane sashes above C20 shop front. Interior:
left range has 2 arch-braced collar-trusses with through-purlins to former
first-floor chamber; range to right has 3-bay roof with arched windbraces. No.14
to left: similar materials. One storey and attic; one-window range. Late C19
shop front with moulded cornice and C20 door and windows. C17 rear wing of
similar materials. Interior: beam to rear.
