Almshouses. Founded 1724 (plaque reset in gable end): rebuilt 1868 by William Wilkinson. Coursed limestone rubble; stone-coped gabled stone slate roof; large stone ridge and end stacks. Six-unit plan. One storey and attic; six-window range. C20 doors set in three Gothic-style pointed doorways with bracketed hoods above. Two-light stone-mullioned windows, which on first floor are set in stone-coped gables with finials and have pointed-arched hood moulds. Hipped one-storey service ranges to rear.

Interior not inspected.

Founded by John Holloway, Clothier, d,1724, to house "aged unmarried women".
