House. Early C17 and probably earlier, but mainly c.1805. Timber frame, stucco and slate roof, with plaster, red brick, old tile roof, rear wing to L plan. Front range is 2 storeyed, long, S facing, 7 window range. Full height bow windows each end with flat cap roofs. Continuous, deep eaves board on console brackets. Tudor hood moulds to Ground floor windows, which are 6/6 sashes in 3 window centre. Modern French windows to bows. Mid-C19 extension on E side with part latticework sun parlour and 3-light, casement window. Single storey E extension. Red brick rear elevation has stuccoed, square, Tuscan porch with dentil cornice. Large stair light to right with semicircular head and crossed glazing bars. 2 other semicircular lights and open belfry tower above the pyramid slate roof. C17 or earlier rear wing on W has C17/18 leaded casements on E elevation. Other casements and attics are C19/20 in groups of 2 to 6 with wooden lintels. Further extension to W on N end of rear wing has C19 red brick exterior. Good Regency interior detail on front range with varied cornice mouldings. Early C17 chamfered and stopped floor beams and joists in adjoining Ground floor room of rear wing.
