Details
MOLLAND WEST MOLLAND LANE SS 72 NE 14/100 Shippon approximately 15 metres to - north-west of West Molland Barton at SS 7929 2851 GV II Shippon. Early to mid C18, altered probably in the early C20. Roughly squared and coursed stone, with C20 cement render to north. Gable-ended asbestos-slate roof. Plan: Long rectangular range aligned approximately east-west, facing farmyard to north. One storey and loft. Exterior: Central loft opening with 2 boarded doors. Four ground-floor C20 metal casements and 2 boarded stable-type doors. Blank wall to south. This range bounds the south-side of the group of farmbuildings on the opposite side of the lane to West Molland Barton (q.v.). Despite its alterations it still forms an important part of the farmstead.
