Hall dated 'R 1659 B' on carved stone at base of chimney stack (now concealed within the roof). Three units long with lobby entry, T-planned with an outshut in the angle rebuilt in brick to 2-storey height in C19. Two storeys with attics. Dressed limestone; red brick rear wing. Plain tiled roofs with ashlar copings to parapets and moulded kneelers. Ridge stack of ashlar with 3 shafts and common moulded entablature. Two hipped dormer windows with iron lattice light'casements. Three first floor C19 replacement cross-framed windows with iron casements and original chamfered and stopped oak lintels; one small casement above door. Three similar ground floor windows of 2 and 3 lights. C18 door with 6 raised and fielded panels; modern porch. Interior has 2 large inglenook hearths with remains of baking oven. Early C18 pine panelling, and chimney piece in hall with some reset panels in parlour end. Similar panelling in 2 rooms of wing. Two C19 staircase. Original butt purlin roofs in both ranges.
