Details
NORTH MOLTON THE SQUARE (north side), SS 7229-7329 18/183 Smyth memorial approximately 9 - metres to south of west tower of Church of All Saints GV II Chest tomb. Early to mid C18. Sandstone. Moulded cornice to flat top. Inscription on top slab to John Smyth of Bentwitchen (buried 23rd February 17-) and further inscription dated 25th April 1892. Inscription on east end to Willima Smyth (buried 12th March 1724, aged 45) and Elizabeth his daughter (buried 20th October 1740, aged 36). Inscription on north side to Henry Smyth (died at Bentwitchen 25th August 1815, buried 2nd September 1815, aged 82).
