Farmhouse. C17 origin, with C19 and later alterations and additions. Limestone rubble, stone dressings and heavy quoins, part rendered, concrete double Roman tiled front roof with raised coped verges and central ashlar stack, rendered to left, double Roman tiles and pantiles to rear. Through passage plan. 2 storeys and 3 windows, ground floor has 2-light and 3-light casement with flat mullions, one hood mould and one dripstone, C20 door with timber lintel, C20 2-light casement to right with ovolo mullion and hood mould; first floor has two 2-light and central 3-light casement under eaves, all with ovolo mullions. Right return has 2-light casement at ground and first floor with ovolo mullions, hood mould at first floor, blocked 2-light casement in gable end; attached at rear right, 1½ storey outbuilding with C20 window and ridge stack. Left return rendered with single storey lean-to. Rear has 2 bays to right set back; ground floor has 2-light and 3-light casement as at right return, two 2-light casements under eaves, to left with C20 window inserted, partially blocked, C20 lean-to attached to left with door, single light with ovolo mouldings under eaves to left. Inner side of outbuilding has 3 stable doors with timber lintels, straight joint, 2 C20 windows and small light with timber lintel to left, loading door in gable end.

Interior: heavy chamfered beams, winder stair to rear left of passage, central stack has fireplace with heavy stone lintel and shouldered head, oven recess upper right; window mullions ovolo-moulded inside; west side of house at higher level than east. Roof structure believed to contain principals with curved feet.
