HAREWOOD CP SO 52 NW 3/45 Grange Farmhouse
GV II
Farmhouse. Possibly C17, with later alterations. Timber-frame and squared sandstone rubble, finished in render and weatherboards, tiled roofs, two brick stacks and one external gable-end stack with brick shaft. L-plan with main range aligned north-east/south-west and wing projecting towards north-west from north end. Two storeys. West elevation has three windows, early C19 casements, one of two lights to centre of main range flanked by a pair of three lights, ground floor has two similar 3-light casements, one to each side of roughly central 6-panelled early C19 door under a gabled canopy; unfenestrated gable front to left has external stack. Rear elevation to east has mid-C20 weatherboarding. Interior noted as having exposed timber-framed walls and heavy ceiling beams. Grange Farm is probably the home farm to the demolished Harewood Park.
