Details
NORTH MOLTON THE SQUARE (north side), SS 7229-7329 18/184 Chest tomb approximately 14 metres - to south of chancel of Church of All Saints GV II Chest tomb. Dated 1715. Finely-jointed sandstone blocks, almost of ashlar quality. Some C20 repointing. Coved cornice to flat top. Top slab has inscribed border with inscription to Richard Moorner of South Holdridge (buried 4th December 1715, aged 73). The long inscription records further members of the family who died in the C18.
