HENTLAND CP SO 52 NW 3/63 Tresseck (formerly listed as Tresech) 18.5.53

GV II

Farmhouse. Probably C16 to C17 with earlier origins, and late C19 to early C20 alterations. Timber-frame and sandstone rubble with sandstone dressings; brick stacks and tiled roofs. T-plan with main range east/west and cross- wing at west end. Cellar, one storey and attic. South elevation has gable front to left-hand side with two levels to two-storey 2-light mullioned windows each with hood-moulds; ledged door at bottom of a flight of stairs. Main range has three gables each with c1900 casements of two lights. To left is mid-C20 steel French casement and to centre a ledged door. North elevation has exposed timber-framing; eroded 2-light mullioned window to east side. East gable has one 2-light mullioned window to first-floor. West gable has exposed timber- frame and entry in bracketted c1900 hood. Interior not inspected. (RCHM, Vol I, P 89).
